Billy Gordon Robinson, Jr., 21, of New Philadelphia, died Mon., Jan. 2, 2006, from complications of diabetes.
Born Dec. 6, 1984, in Canton, he was the son of Billy Gordon Robinson, Sr. of Chillicothe, and Judy Mowery Robinson of New Philadelphia. Billy attended Sandy Valley and New Philadelphia High Schools. He enjoyed being with his family, playing ball with his step-sons, going fishing and music.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth I. Anderson Robinson, whom he married on Aug. 13, 2005, in New Philadelphia; grandfather, Arlie Mowery of Malvern; step-sons, Richard and Samuel Anderson at home; sisters, Chastity Wingerter of Dover, Lisa Paxson of East Sparta, and Melissa Robinson of New Philadelphia; a niece, whom Billy helped care for, Amber Mercer; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ethel Mowery in 1998.
A service celebrating Billy�(TM)s life will be held today, Jan. 6, at 1 p.m., in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, 246 E. High Ave., New Philadelphia. Pastor Larry Fletcher of the First Assembly of God in New Philadelphia will officiate. Burial will be in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens, Dover. Following the committal, there will be a meal in the First Moravian Church, 319 N. Walnut St., Dover.
