Billy W. Cabbage

Billy W. Cabbage, 73, of New Philadelphia died unexpectedly Friday, December 5, 2014 in his home following a sudden illness.

Billy formerly owned and operated a floral business in Kentucky.

Born Dec. 14, 1940 in Maynardsville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Frank R. and Minnie (Nicely) Cabbage. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Kathy (West) Cabbage; a son, Luke Cabbage; a brother D.R. Cabbage of Maynardsville; his mother and father in law, William and Connie West of New Philadelphia ; brothers and sister in law, Alan West and Rick and Billie Fioretto and a grandfather in law, Rev. Lomas Shuman of New Philadelphia.

A memorial service celebrating Billy's life will be held Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014 beginning at 6pm in the Faith Christian Church in New Philadelphia with Pastor Brian Flood and Rev. Lomas Shuman officiating. There are no calling hours.
