Bradley F. Applegarth, 62, of Uhrichsville died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020 at C laymont Health following a period of declining health.

Born May 28, 1958 in Dennison, he was the son of the late Robert and Janice (Bell) Applegarth.

Brad retired from Tusco Display in Gnadenhutten. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He especially liked spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He will be sadly missed by his family including his wife of nearly 44 years, Dorothy (Haney) Applegarth with whom he would have celebrated on Christmas Eve. He is also survived by three daughters, Tonia (Henry) Devore, Tara Hanes, and Amanda (Kevin) Shepherd all of Uhrichsville; four grandchildren, Whitney (Doug) Cox of Dennison, Josie Jones of New Philadelphia, Logan Devore of Canton and Preston Hill of Cambridge; nine great grandchildren and three brothers and a sister, Steve (Sherry) Applegarth of Uhrichsville, Brian Applegarth of New Philadelphia, Dusty (Eric) McCreery of Mineral City and Rocky (Miranda) Applegarth of Carrollton.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private funeral will be held at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory at Dover. A public graveside service will be held this Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020 beginning at 2pm at the Tunnel Hill Cemetery near Dennison.
