Brenda J. Grant

Brenda J. Grant, 69, of New Philadelphia passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020, at Union Hospital in Dover.

Born in Dennison on March 4, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Willie D. Peterson and Fronie (Lowery) Peterson, who survives. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Willie Charles and sister, Willie Pearl.

She was a graduate of Claymont High School with the class of 1969. She retired from Miracle Adhesive in New Philadelphia.

Brenda was an active member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Dennison where she was active in the choir and many other activities in the church. She enjoyed dancing, singing, and flowers. More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her mother, Fronie, she leaves behind her children; Edward (Rachel) Grant, Christina (Scott) Monticelli, her grandchildren, Spencer, Alexandria, and Jasmine, Xavier, Hunter, Brenden, Nakarri, and Andrew; her brother, Billy (Mary Jo) Ray; niece, Shara Watson; along with several other nieces and nephews.
