Brenda Sue Lab, 62, of Strasburg died Monday, June 29,
2009 in her son�(TM)s home following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Dover on September 17, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Cecil M. Nicholson and Grace M. Fox Nicholson.
Brenda graduated from Strasburg High School in 1964. She worked for 15 years at Sugarcreek Industries and worked for many years at Dutch Valley in Sugarcreek.
She was an avid sports fan. She spent much of her spare time watching the Strasburg Tigers, Ohio State Buckeyes and Nascar. She was a huge Michael Jordan fan. When she wasn�(TM)t busy watching sports, she enjoyed shopping with her family and friends and going out to eat.
She will be sadly missed by: her mother; Grace, as well as; two sons, Ron (Tracy) Lab and Nick (Amy) Lab both of Strasburg; her two daughters, Marci (Chris) Moore of Dover and Kassandra (Heath) Hurst of Dublin, Ohio; two sisters, Bonnie (Ervin) Miller of Dover and Becky (Steve) Doney of Stonecreek; her brother, John Nicholson of Beach City; and her seven grandchildren, Brittani and Bradly Lab both of Strasburg, Ryan and Drew Moore both of Dover , Lucas and Garrett Lab both of Strasburg, and Brodie Hurst of Dublin, Ohio.
A celebration of Brenda�(TM)s life will take place at the
Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on
Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 10:00 am with Pastor Steve
Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Dover Burial Park. A funeral reception will be held at St. John United Church of Christ in Strasburg. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 from 5-8 pm.
