Brent D. Curran, 51, of Dover and formerly of Midvale died Thursday, January 10, 2002 at Union Hospital.
He was the owner and operator of Curran's Auto and Body Repair, and had also been employed at Briggs and Turivas in Dennison, Barmet Industries in Uhrichsville and Atwood Lake Marina.
Born December 19, 1950 in Dover he was a son of the late John and Jean Willis Curran.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in New Philadelphia and was an avid hunter, fisherman and gun enthusiast. He enjoyed working with his hands and the skills he used were taught to him by his father and grandfather, Alpha Willis. He was also a 1969 graduate of New Philadelphia High School.
Brent is survived by his wife Susan Curran of Dover
He is also survived by two daughters: Pam (Jim) Brosius of Bowling Green, Ohio
Angie Curran of Canton
Son: Dan Curran of New Philadelphia.
Brother: Brad (Nora) Curran of New Philadelphia
Sister: Julie (Steve) Glass of New Philadelphia
Three grandchildren: Cara, Josiah and Cameron Brosius
Three nephews: John Curran, Andy Curran and Jason Angelo
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 14, 2002 at 1:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Pastor Mark Trotter officiating. Interment will be in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. Friends can call at the funeral home on Sunday from 5-8 pm.
