Brian L. Vanasdal, 36, of Dover died Friday, August 27, 2004 at Akron City Hospital following injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
He was an Operations Supervisor at Zimmer Orthopedic in Dover.
Born March 2, 1968 in Lodi, Ohio he was a son of Arlen and Sharon Read Vanasdal of West Salem, Ohio.
Brian was a member of the Harley Ownership Group and had a great passion for his motorcycle and for lifting weights. He also played drums for the band “Close Pursuit” since he was in high school. Brian was a 1986 graduate of Northwestern High School in West Salem, where he was the class president, and a 1990 graduate of the University of Akron. Brian was a friendly and positive person who believed in living life to the fullest, he enjoyed nothing more than to make people laugh. He loved his family and his children, who were the center of his life.
Along with his parents, Brian is survived by the mother of his two children, Janie Vanasdal of Dover; two daughters, Madison and Rayna Vanasdal of Dover; companion, Tricia Jones of Dover and his sister, Tina “Beans” Vanasdal of Canal Fulton.
A celebration of Brian�(TM)s life will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. Glen Shedlock officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Friends can call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-9 pm.
