Burt D. Copeland Sr.

Burt D. Copeland Sr., 63, of New Philadelphia passed away peacefully, following a hard fought battle with cancer, on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born October 8, 1954 in Canton, he was a son of the late Bernard and Margaret Nagy Copeland. Burt was also preceded in death by three brothers, Fred, Donald and Pete Copeland.

He retired as the owner of C & C Auto Repair in New Philadelphia after many years of service.

Burt is survived by his wife of 21 years, Nancy Yosick Copeland whom he married on July 1, 1996; children, Burt (Ann) Copeland Jr., John Copeland both of Pennsylvania, Robert Copeland of California, Robin Gollehon of New Philadelphia; brothers, William (Debra) Copeland of Bolivar, Bernard (companion, Karen Smith) Copeland of West Virginia; sister, Patricia (Richard) Campbell of West Lafayette; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
