Caley M. Dawson

Caley M. Dawson, 19, of 11085 Strasburg-Bolivar Rd. N.W. Bolivar, Oh. , passed away Saturday, August 30, 2003, at home in the company of her loved ones, after a courageous fight with breast cancer.

Born September 5, 1983, in Canton, Ohio, Caley was the daughter of Harold I. Dawson Jr. and Beverly M. Blackstone Dawson of Bolivar.

Caley was a very upbeat and positive young lady who had quite a passion for life. Her view on life and how it was lived left an indelible mark on all of those who knew her. She was a 2001 graduate of Strasburg High School and Buckeye Career Center where she completed coursework in legal secretarial.

In addition to her parents, Caley is survived by her brother, James of Bolivar and his fiancé Dana Phelps; grandparents, Harold I. (Rose) Dawson of Bolivar; James D. (Nancy) Blackstone of Canton and Harold L. Smith of Lancaster, Ohio. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her Grandmothers, Doris M. Smith and Nancy L. Dawson.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Christian Church at Dover with Don Campbell and Reverend Glen Shedlock officiating. Interment will be in Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg. Friends may call at Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Dover on Monday, September 1st from 2 - 6 p.m.
