Carl A. Welling

Carl A. Welling, 86, of Strasburg died Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Altercare of Alliance.

Born May 11, 1928 in New Bedford, Ohio he was a son of the late Blake and Marie Sheetz Welling. Carl was also preceded in death by a son, Don Welling; daughter, Debbie Tschantz; brother, Lauren Welling and sister, Larna Flickinger.

He retired from Republic Steel in Massillon after many years of service.

Carl is survived by his wife of 64 years, Pauline Levengood Welling; son, Robert (Deanna) Welling of Dover; daughter, Linda (Mark) Netro of Canton; brother, Frank (Marilyn) Welling of Dayton; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. Private family graveside services will be held in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg.
