Carol A. Linerode

Carol A. Linerode, 75, of Strasburg completed her 14 year journey to the top of the stairs and was embraced in the loving arms of her husband and son on the afternoon of December 21, 2013.

Born November 19, 1938 she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Florence Lohmuller Baumann. Carol was also preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Donald D. Linerode on August 12, 1999 and her son, Donald D. Linerode Jr. on April 29, 1962.

Carol was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Debbie (Bruce) Durbin of Bolivar, Bill (Beth) Linerode, Dianne (Robert) Schuster, Denise (Russ) Woleslagle all of Strasburg; grandchildren, Marissa, Michael and Matthew Durbin, Joshua Linerode, Andrew and Stephanie Schuster and Aimee Jesse; brother, Alan (Mandy) Baumann and aunt, Evelyn Lohmuller.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 27 at noon in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg with Pastor Larry Fletcher officiating. Friends can call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at 232 N. Wooster Ave., Strasburg on Thursday from 5-7 pm.
