Carol Kaelin, 81, of Stone Creek, was peacefully called home on Thursday, January 7, 2021, from Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia.
Born December 6, 1939 in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Bessie Walton Gintz. Carol attended Dover Ohio High School, and was employed for many years by Handy & Harmon, Dover, retiring as a foreman.
Aside from visiting with her beloved children and grandchildren, Carol enjoyed spending time in her beautiful flower gardens, feeding the various wildlife around her Stone Creek cabin and fishing in Myrtle Beach while vacationing with family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Larry Kaelin; her daughters, Sonjia Allonas of Mount Vernon, and Darla (Seth) Everhart of Dalton; her son- in-law, Paul Fish; her grandchildren, Josh (Nichole) Hobart of Marysville, Aaron (Brittany) Hobart and Kenzie (Melvin) Campbell, both of Mount Vernon, Shawn (Hope) Everhart and Matthew (Paige) Everhart, both of Dalton, Amber (Jason) Conant of Arizona, Jonathan (Katrina) Fish, Jesse (Tasha) Fish and Amber Halstead; her great-grandchildren; her nephews; and her many friends.
In addition to her parents, her daughter, Cheryl Fish, her infant great-granddaughter, Marilyn Yeatman, and her brothers, James, Gerald and Robert Gintz, preceded Carol in death.
A private celebration of Carol’s life will be held at a later date.
Her family wishes to acknowledge the staff of Community Hospice Truman House for the wonderful care and loving support provided to Carol in her last days – Thank You So Very Much.
