Carol Walker

Carol (Peterman) Walker, 75, of New Philadelphia passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Amberwood Manor.

Born on June 2, 1943 in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Clara (Stuber) Herman. On June 10, 1988 she married Harold “Dean” Walker, who preceded her in death on August 26, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Atlee Peterman on October 16, 2012; along with her sister; Charlotte Kay Herman, and grandson, Jacob McNutt.

She was a homemaker.

She will be sadly missed by her children; Loretta (Eugene) Rainsberg of Dover, Donald L. (Michelle) Peterman of Dover, Rhonda (Larry) Rentsch of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, Jeremiah (Melissa) Rainsberg of New Philadelphia, Danielle (Eric) Schumacher of Dover, Brandon (Kerstin A.) Davis of Shelby, Cody Michael Smith of New Philadelphia, Jessica McNutt of Medina; along with five great-grandsons, and one great-granddaughters.

A celebration of Carol’s life will take place at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 7:00pm with Pastor Joseph Perry officiating. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
