Carol Y. Davidson

Carol Y. Davidson, 80, of Dover passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018 in the Community Hospice Truman House.

Born October 2, 1937 in Dover she was the daughter of the late Norman and Opal Gowins Chaudrue. Carol was also preceded in death by her husband, Larry “Butch” Davidson on February 16, 2015.

She retired from Union Hospital after 30 years of service as a Nurse’s Assistant. Carol attended Grace Lutheran Church in Dover for many years, and in her spare time, she enjoyed watching the Indians, reading, playing the piano and camping.

Carol is survived by her children, Mark (fiancé, Paula Kerr) Davidson who served as Carol’s caregivers following her husband’s death, Todd (Debra) Davidson of East Sparta, Kevin (companion, Sandra Croy) Davidson, Lisa (companion, John Agar) Davidson, Brent (Kelly) Davidson all of Dover; 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

A celebration of Carol’s life will be held on Thursday, February 15 at 7:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Pastor Donald Rice officiating. The family will greet friends two hours prior to the service on Thursday.
