Carolyn B. Kain

Carolyn B. Kain, 62, of 119 E. 9th St. Uhrichsville, Ohio and formerly of New Philadelphia died Monday, August 21, 2006 in Aultman Hospital at Canton following an extended illness.

Born August 6, 1944 in Uhrichsville, she was the daughter of the late Henry J. and Cora B. Nealy Butt.

Carolyn enjoyed playing bingo. She also loved traveling and was a BMW motorcycle instructor and was the former advertising manager and ambassador for BMW Motorcycle Owners of America (BMWMOA). She was also a foster parent for six children and a former member of the New Phila Eagles and Moose lodges.

She is survived by her former husband, Rex Postlethwait with whom she resided. She is also survived by five children, Dwayne Postlethwait of Gambier, Kevin Postlethwait of Cleveland, Yvonne (Tracy) Allen of Akron, Michelle (William) Yates of North Royalton and Randy Kain of Cleveland along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren and her beloved, dog, Sailor.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her brother, Edward J. Butt.

A service celebrating Carolyn�(TM)s life will be held Friday, August 25, 2006 at 11am at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia with Rev. Calvin Henry officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Burial Park in New Phila. A reception will follow the interment in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8 pm.
