Carolyn Kieffer

Carolyn Kieffer, 65, of Mineral City passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Aultman Hospital in Canton.




Born in Barnhill on February 21, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Mary (Smitley) Ohler. She attended Midvale High School. On December 31, 1986, she married the love of her life, Willard Kieffer Sr, who survives.




In addition to her husband, Willard Sr., she will be sadly missed by her children; Tammy (Bill) Wood of Kimbolton, Grady (Shirley) Woodring of Canton, Tyrone (Lori) Woodring of Massillon, Peggy (Todd) McCune of Navarre; her step-children, Will Jr. (Jamie) Kieffer of Mineral City, Dawn (Joey) Bower of Massillon, and Bobby Kieffer of Sherrodsville; brother, Larry (Pat) Ohler of Barnhill; sisters, JoAnn Nelson of Zoarville, Bernice Zimmerman of Gnadenhutten, (her twin) Marilyn (Denny) Knepper of East Sparta; brother in-law, Jeff Fergusson of Barnhill; along with 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her daughter in-law, Lori Ann Kieffer and three sisters and one brother.




A celebration of Carolyn's life will take place at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Richard Harvey officiating. Burial will follow in New Cumberland Cemetery. Following the service of committal, a meal will be served at Somerdale Marantha Bible Church. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 from 5-8 pm.
