Carolyn L. Price

Carolyn L. Price, 80, of New Philadelphia passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Union Hospital following an extended illness.



Born on August 4, 1936 in Dover, she was the daughter of the late William and Elsie (Wayble) Jennings. Carolyn was a 1954 graduate of Dover High School. On August 9, 1954, she married the love of her life, Thomas Price, who survives.



Carolyn was a member of the Red Hat Society. She was also a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Dover, where she was a involved with the Order of St. Luke (OSL) and the Mary Baer Circle. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.



In addition to her husband, Tom, she will be sadly missed by her children; Polly Jo Price of Dover, Douglas (Ronda) Price of Canton; three grandchildren, Carrie Yeager of New Philadelphia, Rod Bleininger (companion, Dyana Hall) of Bowerston, Lori (Jordan) Fausel of New Philadelphia; great grandchildren, Andrew Yeager, Kellyn Fausel, Lukas Yeager, Keaton Fausel, Caleb Yeager, Kieran Fausel, and Kamryn Fausel, great great granddaughter, Adelyn Richards; three sisters, Grace Beller of Dover, Betty (Roy) McConnell of Columbus, Judith (Carl) Schneider of Navarre; along with a sister in law, Nina Jennings of Dover.



Carolyn was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Jennings, William Jennings Jr., and sister, Beatrice Hyust.



A memorial service will be held at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 11:00am with Pastor Donald Rice Jr. officiating. Friends can call at the funeral home on Monday from 10-11am.
