Catharine “Becky” Seibert Adams, 89, of Dover, died Tuesday, October 7, 2003 in the Hennis Care Centre at Dover.
She was retired from the former Shenango Penn Mold where she had worked as secretary.
Born July 2, 1914 in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Edward F. and Katharine M. Loeffler Seibert.
Becky was a life member of the First Moravian Church at Dover. She shared her love of the game of Bridge with her father, Ed and the two of them were widely known in tournament circles. She was also a member of the Strasburg chapter of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband Tom B. Adams who died November 15, 1999.
Survivors include: two nieces; Mary K. Seibert Funk of West Milton and Ann E. Seibert Walters of Columbus along with several special grand nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Becky was preceded in death by a brother, Alton “Si” Seibert.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 10, at 2:00 p.m. in the First Moravian Church at Dover with Pastor Allen Bergmann officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover on Thursday, from 6-8 p.m. with Eastern Star services being conducted at 5:45 p.m.
