Catherine A. Walters, 91, a lifelong resident of Dover died Friday, February 5, 2010 in the Country Club Retirement Center at Dover.

Born May 22, 1918 in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Carmella (DePaola) Cua.

Catherine was a retired Press Operator for Dover Molded Products in Dover.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover. She enjoyed crocheting and reading and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent ?Tuke? Walters with whom she was married for sixty one years. ?Tuke? died May 25, 2002. She was also preceded by three brothers, Dominic, Nick, and Ralph Cua and two sisters, Mary (Cua) Hoffman and Vicky (Cua) Ellis.

She is survived by her son, Marc (wife, Jill) Walters of Spencerville, Ohio and her daughter, Marsha (husband, Fred) Bonecutter of Dover; five grandchildren, Ryan (wife, Heather) Walters, Patrick Walters, Aaron (wife, Mandy) Propp, Adam (wife, Valerie) Propp, and Andy (wife, Liz) Propp and a great grandson, Hayden Walters; one brother, Louis Cua of New Philadelphia and several nieces and nephews.

At her request, cremation will take place and Fr. Matt Hoover will officiate a private memorial service at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory at Dover. She will be buried beside her husband at Calvary Cemetery in Dover. There are no calling hours.
