Catherine Jane Marlor

Catherine Jane Marlor, 80, of Zoarville, died Tuesday, Jul. 29, 2008, in Union Hospital, Dover.

Born, Mar. 24, 1928, in New Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late James Harvey and Carrie Kaserman Ault. Catherine attended school in New Philadelphia, and was employed by the U.S. Ceramic Tile Co. in East Sparta for forty-two years, retiring in 1990.

She was a member of the First United Church of Christ in New Philadelphia, as well as the Mineral City Senior Citizens. She enjoyed camping and fishing with her husband, Sam, at Clendening and Leesville Lakes.

Survivors include two brothers, Charles A. and Harry G. Ault, both of Mineral City, and two nephews, Robert E. and James H. Kauffman, both of New Philadelphia.

In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-eight years, Joseph Samuel Marlor, in 1998; a sister, Dorothy V. Kauffman; and by two brothers, John H. and James R. Ault.

A funeral service will be held Friday, Aug. 1, at 11 a.m., in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, 246 E. High Ave., New Philadelphia, with Pastors Jeffrey R. Gerber and Jill D. Lovett officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia.
