Catherine I. ''Katie'' Bowman, 67, of Dover, died Saturday, February 24, 2001 in Union Hospital.
Born October 16, 1933 at Dover, she was a daughter of the late Charles & Anna Prince Aeling.
She attended the Crooked Run United Methodist Church and had been a member of the Brandywine Grange.
Katie is survived by her husband Everett M. Bowman, whom she wed on March 5, 1955.

Preece of Massillon, Sr. Mary Carol Aeling, CDP, of Allison Park, Pa.,
and Charlene and James Herzig of Dover.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Katie was preceded in death by two sisters,
Gertrude Sponaugle and Sr. Anella Aeling and a brother, Howard Aeling, and infant siblings James and Marilyn.
Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, February 27, at 2pm in the Crooked Run United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Scott & Rev. John Clark officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover on Monday from 6-9pm and one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.
