Charlene K. Mercer

Charlene K. Mercer, 83, of Dover passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021 in the Park Village Health Care Center.

Born on December 15, 1937 in Dover she was the daughter of the late Howard and Lucille Pealy McCully. Charlene retired in 1996 from the State of Ohio Department of Transportation after 30 years of service.

She is survived by her son John (Debbie) Geisinger of New Philadelphia; daughter, Rachel (Chris) Bolek of Dover; grandchildren, Andrew (Marcie) Bolek, Alexis (Nicola) Rios, Aaron Bolek; great grandson Kyro Bolek; and her beloved dogs, Lovey and Sadie.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. There are no services or calling hours. Those wishing to express their fondest memories of Charlene may do so by visiting the online obituaries link on the funeral home’s website.
