Charles Albert Flickinger

Charles A. Flickinger, 75, of Dover, Ohio died Tuesday, November 18, 2003 in the Morning View Care Center at New Philadelphia following an extended illness.

He was a retired employee of Zedmark Industries near Dover where he worked for over 40 years.

Born October 31, 1928 in Strasburg, Ohio, he was the son of the late Roy and Ada Hanni Flickinger.

Charles was a member of the First Lutheran Church at Strasburg and a former member of the Dover Moose Lodge.

He is survived by two brothers Richard (Gail) Flickinger of Strasburg and Gene (Ruthann) Flickinger of Dover along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers Alvin and Wayne Flickinger.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 21, 2003 at 10:30 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. Fred Grosse officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday (today) from 6-8 pm.
