Charles H. Grafe

Charles H. Grafe, 69, of New Philadelphia died Sunday, May 6, 2001 in Hennis Care Centre at Dover.

He was retired from the Timken Company at Canton where he had worked for over 43 years.

Born July 12, 1931 at Dover, he was son of the late Dewey & Suzanne Barthelemy Grafe, Sr.

He was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church at Dover where he had served as an Usher. He was also member of the Dover Eagles, New Phila. Elks and was formerly a member of the Dover Moose. He enjoyed dancing and camping.

Charles is survived by his wife Shirley Everhart Grafe, whom he wed on June 16, 1990.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by an infant son, Todd Eric Grafe, and a step-daughter, Patty Crosby.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 10, at 10:00am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover with Pastor Brian Nunnally officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park where VFW graveside services will be held. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, anytime after 2:00pm with family present from 7-9pm.
