Charles M. Larson

Charles M. "Chuck" Larson, 57, of Magnolia and formerly of Dover, died Saturday, January 31, 2009 in Aultman Hospital in Canton following a sudden illness.

Born September 9, 1951 in Canton, Ohio he was the son of the late Bernard and Grace DePalmo Larson. He was a 1969 graduate of Malvern High School and continued his education at Kent State University. He married the love of his life, Debbie Olinger Larson, on August 20, 1976.

For many years, Chuck worked in the accounting department at Country Pure Foods in Akron Ohio.

He was a man with a compassionate heart. Chuck and Debbie enjoyed traveling to dog shows to show their three Doberman Pinchers; Amber, Rocky, and Shayla. He also enjoyed riding horses and for many years loved to barrel race. He was a true animal lover.

Chuck also enjoyed riding four wheelers and golfing. He was the assistant golf coach at East Canton. He was very athletic.
Recently, Chuck bought a new camera and had a new passion for taking pictures.

In addition to his wife, Debbie, other survivors include: his brother; Michael (Michelle) Larson of Malvern, his sister; Rachel (Jack) Leggett of Malvern, his sister in-law; Marcia Wright of New Philadelphia, his mother in-law; Esther Olinger of Magnolia as well as many aunts, uncles nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his brother in-law; Harold "Rocky" Wright.

In honoring Chuck's wishes, cremation has taken place at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory in Dover. A memorial service will be held at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 125 Carrolton St, Malvern, Ohio 44644, on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 11:00 am with Father Victor Cincon and Pastor Steven Woyen officiating.
