Charles Ruszin, 82, of New Philadelphia died Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Union Hospital surrounded by his family.
He retired in 1991 from Dover Tank and Plate with 24 years of service.
Born September 12, 1928 in Dennison he was a son of the late Andrew and Mary Licovich Ruszin. Charles was also preceded in death by two brothers, John and Andrew Ruszin and five sisters, Anna Nedrow, Mary Shoyer, Julie Mizer, Verna Shear and Helen Holcomb.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was also a social member of the Dover VFW.
Charles is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Belknap Ruszin, whom he married on January 22, 1953. He is also survived by his son, Charles M. Ruszin and grandson, Stiv Lee Ruszin both of Dover.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 11:00 am in the St. Joseph Calvary Cemetery at Dover with Pastor Robert Donato officiating. There will be no calling hours. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover are handling arrangements.
