Charles T. "Ted" Fisher

Charles T. “Ted” Fisher, 77, of New Philadelphia passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2023 in the Park Village Health Care Center at Dover.

Born August 13, 1945 in Marysville, Ohio he was a son of the late Theodore and Nellie Smith Fisher. Ted was also preceded in death by his wife, Melody Fisher on October 1, 2022 and sister, Dottie Trachsel.

He retired from Zimmer Biomet in Dover after many years of service. In his spare time Ted enjoyed collecting coins and was a member of a coin collecting club, he was also known for making ceramics and selling them at various flea markets in the area. He loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Ted is survived by his children, Mark (Rachel) Fisher of Canton, Jonathan Reneker of Bolivar, Shannon McCoy; step daughter, Connie Sommers; sister in law, Dena (Rusty) Bonnell all of New Philadelphia; six grandchildren and one great grandson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 15th starting at 2:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Pastor David Wing officiating. The family will be greeting friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 to 2:00 pm.
