Cheryl A. Hupp

Cheryl A. Hupp, age 65, of New Philadelphia, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021, in Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital, Dover, following a brief illness.

Born March 4, 1956, in Steubenville, she was a daughter of the late James and Martha Lee Knight. Cheryl graduated from Conotton Valley High School, Bowerston, and, on March 24, 1974, married Donald I. Hupp. The couple had three children and shared 45 years of marriage prior to Donald’s passing on December 7, 2019. Cheryl was employed by the Hampton Inn in New Philadelphia from which she retired. She was a member of the New Philadelphia Church of Christ, dearly loved her grandchildren, and was very fond of animals, especially the dogs she owned over the years.

Cheryl is survived by her children, Lisa Hupp of New Philadelphia, Donnie (Connie) Hupp of Strasburg and Alan Hupp of North Canton; her grandchildren; her siblings, Sharon Able, Mike and Jimmy Knight, Cindy Hines and Sheila Roy; and her many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and her husband, Donald, Cheryl was preceded in death by her siblings, Charlie and Mark Knight, Cathy Lynch and Sandy Weston.
