Chester A. Beagle

Chester Aubra Beagle, 78, passed away peacefully December 25th, 2020, following a brief illness.

Chester was born on September 22nd, 1942 to the late Gale A Beagle and Linnie Elaine Beagle. He was a graduate of Springfield High School in Bergholz, Ohio. After graduating, Chester proudly served in the United States Navy until 1965. While in the Navy he met the love of his life, Janet (Smith) Beagle on a blind date and soon after they were married on December 2nd, 1965. During the course of their marriage they had two children, a son Robbie and a daughter Lori.

Chester was a hard worker, and was employed at Weirton Steel until his retirement in 1989. In the summers Chester and his wife loved to camp at Atwood Lake.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janet; two children, Robbie (Kathy) Beagle, Lori (Kevin) Miller; grandchildren, Tyler Lowdermilk and Ashley (Tyler) Welch; two great-grandchildren; three siblings, Janice Bear, Marlene Elliott and Marvin (Pat) Beagle.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. There are no services or calling hours.
