Cinda K. Snyder, 65, of Winfield, WV, and a long-time resident of Tuscarawas Co., died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007, in St. Joseph Health Center, Warren, OH, following a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Born Jul. 22, 1942, in Dover, Cinda was a daughter of the late Glenn F. and Pauline Sundheimer Prysi. She graduated from Strasburg High School in 1960, and went on to attend the former Raedel Business College in Canton and later joined the Raedel teaching staff.
Cinda was employed for many years as the payroll and personnel director of the Miracle Adhesives Corp. of New Philadelphia, and its successor, Pratt & Lambert. Following a move to Winfield (near Charleston) some seventeen years ago, she was employed by the Lowe�(TM)s Corp. at Cross Lanes, WV.
Cinda was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in New Philadelphia, and the Ladies of the Moose. She had also served as past co-chair of the United Way Campaign of Tuscarawas Co. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling with her husband, reading and playing cards with friends, but her most favorite activity was spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her loving husband, Paul D. “Dan” Snyder, Jr., whom she married Feb. 12, 1961, in the First Lutheran Church, Strasburg; two daughters, Darlene (husband, Dr. Thomas, Jr.) Jones of Warren, and Paula Robertson, also of Warren; a son, Blaine Daniel Snyder of Charleston; six grandchildren, Kevin, Nathan and Kaylee Robertson, Maddie, Connor and Kyle Jones; a great-granddaughter, Jenna Robertson; twin-sister, Linda L. Reiger of New Philadelphia; brother, Ron (wife, Carole) Prysi of Columbus; several nieces and nephews; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul D. and Betty Snyder of New Philadelphia.
Family and friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 5 �" 8 p.m. A funeral service for Cinda will be held Thursday, Nov. 15, at 11 a.m., in the funeral home, with Pastor Bill Carter of the Believer�(TM)s Christian Fellowship in Warren officiating. Burial will be in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens at Dover. Following the committal, there will be a meal in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center on the Boulevard in Dover.
