Clara D. Denny

Clara D. Denny, 87, a lifelong Dover resident, died Tuesday, May 30, 2000 in New Dawn Health Care Center.

Born April 9, 1913 near Dover, she was the daughter of the late John & Nellie Froelich Groh.

She was a member of the St. Johns United Church of Christ at Dover.

Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Paul M. Denny, who passed away on March 15, 1986.

Survivors include:
2 daughters Mrs. Daniel (Nan) Mangrum of Upper Marlboro, MD & Dawn Hessler of Cadillac, MI
6 grandchildren
8 great grandchildren

In addition to her parents and husband, Clara was preceded in death by a brother.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 3, 2000 at 10:30 am in Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover with Rev. Steve Daniels officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call in the funeral home on Friday anytime after 2, with family present from 6-8pm.
