Claramae Harmon, 90, of New Philadelphia passed away peacefully on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Ohio's Hospice Truman House.
She was born on November 15, 1934, in Flushing, Ohio to the late Alford and Dorothea McConnell Randolph. She was also preceded in death by her three brothers, John, Robert and Richard Randolph.
Claramae dedicated 23 years of her professional life to the Timken Co. in New Philadelphia before embarking on a second chapter at Bell Stores, where she worked for 12 years.
She was a proud graduate of Dover High School, class of 1953, and attended the Church of New Hope in Dover. In her spare time, Claramae enjoyed making crafts and often attended craft shows with her daughter.
Claramae is survived by her daughter, Darlene Smart of New Philadelphia; her grandsons, Timothy Harmon and Travis Smart; and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 6th starting at 10:00 am in the Dover Burial Park with Rev. David Wing officiating. There are no calling hours.
