Clarence L. Miller, 81, of Beach City passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, April 12, 2025, just two days short of his 82nd birthday.

Prior to his tenure there, he had also worked for both the Norfolk and Western and Great Northern Railroad. Clarence was also a devoted pastor for over 50 years, serving various Southern Baptist Churches. His role as a spiritual leader was a testament to his deep faith, which remained a cornerstone of his life. He was the pastor of the Central Community Church in Akron, where he touched the lives of many through his preaching and pastoral care. His proud service to his country included a five-year commitment with the United States Army during the Vietnam War. This period of his life exemplified his dedication to serving others in a greater capacity. Outside of his work and service, Clarence embraced the joys of life through fishing and spending time outdoors.
