Clayton F. Fry

Clayton F. Fry, 84, of New Philadelphia died Sunday, June 11, 2000 at the New Dawn Health Care Center following a brief illness.

He retired from Babcock & Wilcox in Canton after 28 years of service.

Born July 9, 1915 in Newcumberland he was a son of the late Frank and Lola Strawn Fry.

He was a member of Bolivar United Methodist Church, Bolivar American Legion, New Philadelphia Moose and the DAV. He was also an Army veteran of WW II. He enjoyed gardening and hunting in his spare time.

Clayton is survived by his wife Pauline Fabiano Fry with whom he would have celebrated 55 years of marriage on October 27, 2000.

He is also survived by a daughter: Jill and Michael Llewellyn of Dover.

Half brother: Frank Fry of Dover

Half sister: Gladys and Carl O'Brien of Massillon

Grandson: Shane Michael Llewellyn

He was also preceded in death by a sister: Freda Benson

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2000 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. Jay Dolvin officiating. Interment will be at the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6-9 pm.
