Cloyd ''Leroy'' Freed, 79, of Dover, died Friday, February 23, 2001 in Union Hospital.
He retired in 1986 after 40 years as a coal truck driver for Penn Ohio.
Born April 26, 1921 at Ephrata, PA, he was the son of the late Charles and Charlotte Wheeler Freed.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Lahm Freed, with whom he would have celebrated 55 years of marriage on May 26.

In addition to his parents, Leroy was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles & George.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 27, at 1pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover with Rev Robert Gadfield officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8pm.
