Curtis Dale Abbuhl, Jr.

Curtis Dale Abbuhl, Jr., 66, of New Philadelphia, went home to his Heavenly Father on March 2, 2019, after a brief illness.

He was born August 29, 1952, eldest son of the late Curtis Dale Sr. and Daisy (Applegarth) Abbuhl. He resided in New Philadelphia with the love of his life, Therese Abbuhl. Dale graduated from Dennison High School in 1970 and went on to work at Timken Steel in Canton until his retirement after 30 years. After his retirement, he earned his degree from Stark State University in Social Work graduating with honors. After earning his degree he went on to work for the federal government and Goodwill industries.

His hobbies included the love of fishing, reading, and tinkering with computers to the point that he was the one everyone came to for computer problems. His most treasured hobby was his wife.

Dale is survived by his wife, Therese, with whom his life centered around, his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
