Daniel L. Locker

Daniel L. “Danny” Locker, 62, of Navarre, died Thursday, July 21, 2005, at the home of his mother, following a sudden illness.

Born June 25, 1943, in Zoar, Danny was the son of Esther F. Schwarm Locker of Magnolia, and the late Daniel E. Locker. He graduated from Sandy Valley High School and the Toledo Barber College. Danny was a barber in North Industry for over 40 years. Among his hobbies were camping and fishing, gardening �" he especially liked growing flowers. Danny was a member of the Sandyville Eagles Club.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Cloe Ann (Richard) Kate of Dundee, and Judith E. App of Bolivar; nieces and nephews, Kim and Jerry Edgar and daughters, Yvonne and Rod Zesiger and sons, Melissa Kate, Tom and Tamra Huggins and daughters, Todd and Lori App and sons, and Gary and Maria App and daughter; and lifelong friend, Joe Butler.

Besides his father, Danny was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Allen App.

Danny�(TM)s life will be celebrated in a memorial service Monday, July 25, at 6 p.m., in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center, 831 Boulevard, Dover, with Pastor James L. Kennell of the Good Hope Lutheran Church in Zoarville officiating. There will be a meal immediately following the service in the Monarch Center.
