Darlene Renner, 39, of Midvale died on Thursday, March 17, 2016 following a brutal attack in her home.
Born on December 15, 1976 in Dover, she was the daughter of Dalton and Cindy (Frey) Renner. She graduated from New Philadelphia High School with the class of 1996. While in high school she attended Buckeye Career Center. She later took five semesters at Ohio State University's Agricultural Technical Institute in Wooster. She had also completed online training as a veterinary technician.
Darlene was a true animal lover being active in 4-H for many years. She loved spending her time outdoors on her family farm and tending to the cattle. She had an incredibly outgoing personality and was liked by everyone whom she met.
She was employed at Walmart for over 17 years and previously worked for Burger King.
In addition to her parents, she will be sadly missed by her companion; Tim Isaacs of Midvale; sister, Carol (Ryan) Lippencott of New Philadelphia; brother, Darin Renner of New Philadelphia; her uncle, Lee Renner of New Philadelphia; aunts, Virginia (James) Ault of New Philadelphia, and Karen (Thomas) Morrison of New Philadelphia; along with many cousins and close friends.
Darlene was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Robert and Gretta Frey and paternal grandparents, Glen and Thelma Renner.
Friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Monday, March 21, 2016 from 4-7pm. A celebration of Darlene's life will take place at the Goshen Community Church of the Nazarene on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 11:00 am with Pastor Lee Randolph and Pastor Matt Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Frys Valley Church Cemetery. Following the service of committal, a meal will be served in the church social hall.
