David A. Lomady, 70, of Dover, Ohio died Friday, February 23, 2007 in his home.
Born June 23, 1936 in Dover, he was the son of the late Emmett and Leona McCluney Lomady.
Dave was a 24 year employee of the Dover-Phila Electric Co. and had previously worked at the former Conley�(TM)s Store in Dover.
He was an active member of the Tusco Radio Club where he served as recording secretary and editor of the monthly newletter. He enjoyed trains and working on electrical projects.
Dave was a US Army veteran.
He is survived by two cousins Kathryn A. (Robert C.) Campbell of Dover and Carl E. McCluney of Gainesville, Florida.
He was preceded in death by two cousins, Robert L. McCluney and Gerald McCluney.
A public graveside service will be held Saturday, September 8, 2007 at 10:30am in the Maple Grove Cemetery at Dover with Fr. William Arnold officiating. The Dover VFW will conduct military graveside services. Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover.
