David E. Miller

David E. Miller, 65, of New Philadelphia, died Friday, Jul. 25, 2003, in Union Hospital, Dover.

Born Sept. 1, 1937, in Goshen Twp., Tuscarawas Co., he was a son of the late Earle Wesley and Florence Henderson Miller. David attended New Philadelphia High School, and served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He retired from the former Puritan Laundry Co., New Philadelphia.

Survivors include a sister, Diane H. (Charles) Atkins of New Philadelphia; a niece Tammy L. Atkins; a nephew, Wayne G. (Sandra) Atkins; two great-nephews, Wayne G. Atkins II and Shane A. Johnson.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Jul. 29, at 11 a.m., in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, New Philadelphia, with Rev. William A. Sowers of Broadway United Methodist Church, New Philadelphia, officiating. Burial will be in Holmes Church Cemetery, New Philadelphia.
