David Paul Czerepak, 53, of Dover died Tuesday, October 5, 2005 in Union Hospital.
He was self-employed and operated a parts recycling business.
Born October 20, 1952 at Columbus, he was the son of the late Philip Czerepak and Augustine Marino Czerepak who resides in Dover.
David was a member of Dover High School�(TM)s 1971 graduating class. He grew up in St. Joseph Church, Dover, where he had been a server for masses in his youth. Throughout the years he was always a kid at heart. He loved cartoons and was an avid “Trekkie.” He always went out of his way to help others and didn�(TM)t have a pretentious bone in his body. He had been active in Tuscarawas County�(TM)s Kinship care program, the Headstart Parent Club, and the Dover Choir Boosters.
In addition to his mother, David is survived by his loving wife of more than seven years, Cindy Thompson Czerepak.
Other survivors include: seven children, John Stanley (Christine) Czerepak of Ft. Myers, FL, Eric (Lesley) Burdette of Dover, Gary Burdette of Dover, Jessica Ortiz of Inanapolis, IN, Jennifer (Dwane) Hasseman of Amsterdam, Jodi (Ernie) Royer of Midvale, and Jeremy Greenwood of Indianapolis, IN; sixteen grandchildren, Damean, Dezire, Nicolas, Alex, Sadie, Noyah, Nathan, Donovan, Logan, Phoebe, Hailey, Danielle, Dylan, Darren, Diedre, and Brinn; a sister, Mary (Jim) Elco of New Philadelphia; special nephew and niece, Jack and Katie Elco; his mother and father-in-law, Mildred and Clayton Thompson of Mineral City; and 37 cousins.
David�(TM)s life will be celebrated in a memorial mass on Friday, October 28 at 3:00 p.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dover with Fr. William Arnold officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor�(TM)s choice.
