Deborah E. "Debbie" Derush Maze

Deborah E. "Debbie" DeRush Maze, 53, of Canton died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at her home following a brief illness.

Born May 17, 1960 in Cleveland she was a daughter of the late Laverne J. and Evelyn Peters DeRush. Deborah was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Scarlett and sister, Debbie Porter.

Deborah was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother whose life centered on her family, especially her grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Sally (John) Alberty of Bolivar and Paula (Bobby) Weaver of Canton; brothers, David (Marcia) DeRush of North Carolina and Michael (Amanda) DeRush of Indiana; sisters, Theresa (Dale) Southall of South Carolina and Sandra (Walter) Smart of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, Johnathan, Austin, Brianna, Elizabeth, Abbigail, Paul, Zac, Zoey, Melissa, DJ, Logan, Bobby Jr, Daniel, Alexis and Jazimine; great grandchildren, Nikolai and Brielle and step-mother, Ruth Ann DeRush of South Carolina and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 21 at 1:30 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Rev. Brian Flood officiating. Interment will be at the Dover Burial Park.
