Debra A. “Deb” Oukhdouch, age 67, of New Philadelphia, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021, in Community Hospice Truman House. Deb had battled cancer, first diagnosed in 2016, she was tough and had a strong will to survive.
Born December 3, 1953, in Dover, she was a daughter of the late Sam and Elsie Cercone Patterson. Deb graduated from Dover High School in 1972, and foremost was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was employed by several area manufacturing businesses, most recently, DLH Industries in Canton. Deb enjoyed reading, trips to the ocean, playing bingo, and was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, Rahim, whom she married on October 18, 2003; her son, Mark (Tracie) Stephens; her grandchildren, Gage (Kendel Henry), Brandon, Tyler (Savanna) and Chanse Stephens; her great-grandson, Carson “Toodles” Stephens; her brothers, Dan (Diane), Ronnie (Sherry) and Sam Patterson; and her nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, her son, Joshua Stephens; her sister, Barbara Jaberg; her brother, Raymond Patterson; and her niece, Renee Jaberg, preceded Deb in death.
Family and friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover, on Saturday, January 16, 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, masks are required for one’s entry and must be worn the entire time in the funeral home, social distancing must also be observed.
