Debra F. ”Deb” Kochur, age 67, of New Philadelphia, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024, at home, with her family around her, following a long illness.
Born November 4, 1956, in Beloit, Kansas, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Marjorie (Miller) Burger. Deb attended high school in Salina, Kansas, and she later met Brian J. Foremost, Deb was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was employed for years as a server by Shoney’s in Dover, and had also worked as a furniture salesperson. Deb was a faithful member of Alpine Bible Church in Sugarcreek. She loved to camp and fish with Brian and their family, especially at Clendening Lake.
Deb will be dearly missed by her husband, Brian; her children, Amy Cotterill of Monroeville, and Shanda and Jason Kochur, both of New Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Caitlin, Caleb (Sydney) and Casey Cotterill, Zach and Brianne Stantz, Bricen (Ashley), Kinsley and Haidin Kochur; her great-grandchildren, Scarlet, Isla and Elizabeth - due in June of this year; her sister and brothers, Karla Humfeld, Brad (Taber) Burger and Michele (Michael) Hixenbaugh; and her nieces and nephews - including Gina Wilson, with whom Deb was very close.
Besides her parents, Deb was preceded in death by her sister, Janie Burmeister, and her brother, Richard Burger.
