Delsie V. Kaiser

Delsie V. Kaiser, 80, of Strasburg, died Thursday, in her daughter�(TM)s home following a courageous battle with Cancer.

A homemaker for most of her years, Delsie had worked for a time outside the home with Case Farms at Winesburg and US Ceramic Tile at East Sparta.

Born July 13, 1923 in Burning Spring, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Homer & Oleda McCoy.

Delsie was proud of her family and loved having them around for special gatherings and meals. She enjoyed the outdoors as well and spent some of her favorite times working in her flower gardens and fishing.

She was preceded in death by two loving husbands, Benjamine Kutscher, who died in 1953, and her second husband, William Kaiser, who died in 1982.

Survivors include: four children; Jerry Kutscher, Mark (Chasity) Kutscher, Bill (Tami) Kaiser, Floyd Kaiser and Debbie (Ron) Gadfield all of Strasburg, three step-children; James Kaiser of Texas, Ruthann Kaiser and Linda Kaiser both of Cambridge, two sisters; Pearl Menefee of Newcomerstown and Delores Sparks of Dundee, thirteen grandchildren; Dowain, Shawn, Jana, Rita, Chase, William, Zack, April, Heather, Eric, Sheila, Theresa and Kimberly, fourteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

In addition to her parents and husbands, Delsie was preceded in death by: a son; Gerald Kutscher, step-son; David Kaiser, a brother; Delbert McCoy and two sisters; Delma Horrisberger and Dessel Barron.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 15, at 1:30 p.m. in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover with Pastor Ken Fielding officiating. Interment will be in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg. Friends may call in the funeral home on Sunday from 6-9 p.m.

The memory of Delsie and in honor of the exceptional care she received, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Tuscarawas County, 201 W. 3rd St., Dover.
