Dolly Mae Kendle

Dolly Mae Kendle, 91, of Dover passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Park Village Health Care Center of Dover.

Born in Dover on April 10, 1931, she was the daughter of the late David and Bessie (Gundy) Renicker. She married Louis Kendle on March 25, 1949. Louis preceded her in death on November 1, 2016. She was also preceded in death by her son in-law, David Wigfield, eleven brothers and sisters along with three great-grandchildren.

Dolly retired from Union Hospital where she worked as a nurse’s assistant for over 25 years. She was a talented baker and had won several ribbons at the Tuscarawas County Fair. She also enjoyed quilting and sewing.

She leaves behind her children; Martha Wigfield of New Philadelphia, Gerald "Bud" (Mary Ann) Kendle of Mineral City, Wayne (Elaine) Kendle of Navarre, Tim (Tammie) Kendle of (Gilmore) Newcomerstown, Lois (Jim) McKinney of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, Troy, Gerald "Bucky", Todd, Shannon, Becky, Jason, Travis, Tricia and Tonya; 13 great grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, three step-great grandchildren.
