Dolly R. Gentry, 77, of Dover died on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Trinity Hospital.
Born on July 10, 1939 in Elkins, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Holly and Maude (Murphy) Isenhart. On May 31, 1972 she married the love of her life, Roy L. "RL" Gentry, who preceded her in death on February 29, 2016. She is also preceded in death by her son, Glenn Gentry and great grandson, Alvin Rennicker.
Dolly was a member of Sandy Valley Church of God where she taught Sunday school classes and was the children's church teacher; she sang in the choir and loved singing solos and duets with RL. Dolly enjoyed being with her family, especially on Sunday's where she'd prepare a large meal for everyone.
She will be sadly missed by her children; Deanna Gentry and fianc, Chris Swiney of Florida, Elizabeth Gentry and fianc, Chris Kron of Coshocton, Anita Such and companion, Frank Fronsman of Dover, Elaine Gentry and fianc, Richard Riley of Canton, Holly "Buck" Delauder of Canton, Alan (Connie) Gentry of Canton; her brother, Elmer (Addie) Isenhart of Franklin, Ohio; daughter in law, Pamela (Jerry) White of Magnolia along with 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 3 great- great grandchildren.
In honoring Dolly's wishes, cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory at Dover. A memorial service will take place at Sandy Valley Church of God on Wednesday, November 16th at 7:00 pm with Rev. Clifford Hughes officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services on Wednesday.
