Dolores "Dolly" Contini, 94, passed away on January 31, 2024, in Cleveland, Ohio.
Born on July 23, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Michael H. and Helen V. (Trepin) Bollon. She married Orest M. Contini, who preceded her in death on March 31, 1981. She was later preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Karin C. Maldonado, on November 29, 2006; her sisters, Gladys Martinelli, and Marilyn Bilboa; her brothers, Fred (Dolores) Bollon, and Eugene Bollon.
Throughout her years, Dolly made a significant impact as a devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover. She actively participated in various church ministries such as the Christian Mother's group, and Spiritual Life & Liturgy services. Her commitment to her faith was evident in all aspects of her life.
Beyond her religious contributions, Dolly was also a prominent figure in the sports community. Known for her love of golf, she took on the role of a coach for both golf and basketball teams. Her leadership and guidance inspired many young athletes throughout the years.
Dolly's involvement extended beyond the church and sports fields. She served as the president of the Mother's Club. Additionally, her volunteer work at Birthright showcased her compassionate nature and dedication to helping those in need.
She leaves behind her grandson; Luke Maldonado; and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. Her family suggests that friends request a Mass in her honor at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover.
