Dolores W. Newell

Dolores W. Newell, 75, of Dover passed away Friday, June 21, 2002 at Union Hospital following a brief illness.

She retired in 1990 from Union Hospital after 28 years of service.

Born February 13, 1927 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Marion and Goldie Kyle Warner Sr.

She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her grandchildren.

Dolores was preceded in death by her husband Scott Newell Sr. who died in 1989.

She is survived by a daughter: Jackie Fenton of Dover

Son: Scott Newell Jr. and his companion Ruth Burrier of New Philadelphia

Brother: Marion (Catherine “Jennie”) Warner Jr. of Dover

Six grandchildren: Kenneth Kollar Jr. and Kevin “James” Kollar of Columbus, Darlene Mast of Mineral City, Melody Kollar of St. Clairsville, Brooke Fenton and Jennica Fenton of Dover

Five great grandchildren

Many nieces and nephews

She was also preceded in death by a son: Kenneth Kollar Sr.

Two brothers: Carl and Raymond Warner .

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2002 at 1:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. Glen Shedlock officiating. Interment will be at the Dover Burial Park. Friends can call at the funeral home on Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
