Dona T. Wilson

Dona T. Wilson, 91, of Dover passed away peacefully on Monday, May 20, 2019 in Park Village Southside at New Philadelphia

Born November 20, 1927 in Mineral City she was the daughter of the late Fred and Cleda Moreland Ley. Dona was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Wilson on February 1, 2019; brothers, Fred Jr., Glenn, Carl, Vaughn and Lester Ley.

She was a member of Missionary Alliance Church in Dover; and in her spare time she enjoyed sewing, gardening and traveling.

A wonderful and loving mother and grandmother, Dona will be sadly missed by her daughters, Marlene (John) Peterson of Connecticut and Martha (Larry) Lotz of Washington Courthouse; brother, Clarence Ley of Dover; grandsons, Michael (Kim) Lotz, Mark (Molly) Lotz, J. Eric (Lindsay) Peterson; along with eight great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Dona’s life will be held in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover on Friday, May 24 at 11:00 am with Rev. Terry Wilcox officiating. Interment will take place in Greenlawn Cemetery at Sandyville. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday.
